Lake Oswego's Millenium Park
Hi all!
After Borders in Vancouver we traveled, on Sunday, to Lake Oswego's Millenium park, and performed at the Lake Oswego's Art foundation's Art show.
It was a beautiful day out, it got up into the 90's but we were under a canopy and there was a nice breeze off of the lake. What a beautiful setting. It wasn't extremely busy there but the audiences that we had we very appreciative and enjoyed our music.
Elaine, the person in charge, said she got a lot of compliments regarding "Road to Real" and that our music really fit their venue well. We are invited to come back next year. They are booked up for the rest of the year.
All of us at Road to Real really enjoyed this venue.
Michael G's Mom, Rusty, was there, it was real nice to have her in the audience. Rusty and her friend (name escapes me... darn it) were great fans!
Susan showed up with a friend, Annie and Damien were there. Oh yeah can't forget to mention that Mark showed up, from Centerline, with his wife Tammy. Mark was very kind to help us with our sound checks which is a bigger thing than it sounds. Jon from Centerline tried desperately to get us some wind screens from guitar center but they were out! It was great to have Jon there in the audience, it's nice to have fellow musicians there to show support.
Thanks for the support, we appreciate it.
Andy
